Commitment to Privacy

Cavaco AI is designed with privacy in mind and provides tools to help you comply with major data protection regulations like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Consent Management

Cavaco strictly enforces consent requirements for marketing communications. You must specify the consent status of imported contacts, and all native sign-up forms include options for explicit opt-in checkboxes. Unsubscribe links are mandatory in all promotional emails.

Handling Data Deletion Requests (Right to be Forgotten)

If a customer requests that their data be deleted, you can process this request directly within Cavaco:

1. Navigate to the customer's profile in Audience > Profiles.
2. Click the Options menu (three dots) in the top right corner.
3. Select Delete Profile.
4. Confirm the deletion. This action is irreversible and removes all personal data associated with the contact.

Data Export (Right to Access)

You can also export a customer's data if they request access to it. From the same Options menu on their profile, select Export Data to generate a downloadable JSON file containing their complete history.
