Cavaco AI allows you to create and manage Google Search and Performance Max campaigns directly from your dashboard. This helps you capture high-intent traffic and drive conversions alongside your other marketing channels.
1. Prerequisites
Before creating a campaign, you must have successfully connected your Google Ads Account in Settings > Integrations.
2. Creating a New Campaign
- Navigate to Advertising in the left sidebar.
- Click Create Campaign.
- Select Manual Setup or use the Assisted Creator for AI recommendations.
- Select Google Ads as the channel.
3. Choosing the Campaign Type
Select the type of Google Ads campaign you want to run:
- Search: Text ads that appear on Google Search results pages when people search for specific keywords.
- Performance Max: Goal-based campaigns that access all of your Google Ads inventory from a single campaign (Search, Display, YouTube, Discover, Gmail, Maps).
4. Configuring Campaign Settings
- Campaign Name: Give it a descriptive name.
- Budget: Set your average daily budget.
- Bidding Strategy: Choose how you want to bid (e.g., Maximize Conversions, Target ROAS, Maximize Clicks).
- Location Targeting: Specify the geographic areas where you want your ads to appear.
5. Setting Up Ad Groups and Keywords (Search Campaigns)
If you selected a Search campaign:
- Create an Ad Group (a collection of related keywords and ads).
- Enter the keywords you want to target. Cavaco AI may provide keyword suggestions based on your store data.
- You can also apply audience targeting here, such as using a synced Cavaco AI segment for remarketing (RLSA).
6. Designing the Ad Creative
The creative requirements depend on the campaign type:
For Search Campaigns:
- Final URL: Where users go after clicking.
- Headlines: Write multiple headlines (up to 15). Google will test different combinations.
- Descriptions: Write multiple descriptions (up to 4).
For Performance Max Campaigns:
You need to provide a variety of assets for Google to mix and match:
- Images: Upload high-quality images (landscape, square, and portrait).
- Logos: Upload your brand logo.
- Videos: (Optional but recommended) Add YouTube video URLs.
- Headlines & Descriptions: Write short and long headlines, and descriptions.
7. Review and Launch
- Review all settings, keywords, and ad previews.
- Click Launch Campaign.
- The campaign will be submitted to Google for review and will start running once approved.
8. Monitoring Performance
Track your campaign's performance in Advertising > My Campaigns. You can view metrics like Impressions, Clicks, Conversions, and Cost Per Conversion.
