Connecting your Google Ads account to Cavaco AI enables you to sync your customer segments to Google as Customer Match audiences. This allows you to target your existing customers across Google Search, YouTube, Gmail, and the Display Network.
1. Prerequisites
- You must have an active Google Ads account.
- Your Google Ads account must meet Google's requirements for using Customer Match (e.g., a good history of policy compliance and a certain total spend).
2. Connecting Your Google Ads Account
- Log in to your Cavaco AI dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations in the left sidebar.
- Locate the Google Ads integration card.
- Click Connect.
- A secure popup will appear, prompting you to log in to your Google account.
- Follow the prompts to grant Cavaco AI permission to manage your Google Ads campaigns and audiences.
- Once authenticated, select the specific Google Ads account you want to link.
- Click Save or Confirm.
3. Syncing Audiences to Google
Once connected, you can sync your Cavaco AI segments to Google.
- Navigate to Audience > Segments.
- Create a new segment or select an existing one (e.g., "VIP Customers").
- In the segment details, look for the Sync to Ad Networks or Destinations option.
- Select your connected Google Ads account.
- Cavaco AI will automatically create a Customer Match list in your Google Ads account and keep it updated.
4. Using Synced Audiences in Google Ads
To use the synced audience in your campaigns:
- Log in to your Google Ads account.
- Navigate to Tools & Settings > Audience manager.
- You will see your Cavaco AI segment listed there.
- You can apply this audience to your Search, Display, YouTube, or Shopping campaigns for targeting or exclusion.
5. Disconnecting the Integration
If you need to disconnect the account:
- Go to Settings > Integrations in Cavaco AI.
- Find the Google Ads integration.
- Click Manage or Disconnect.
