Creating Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ad Campaigns

Learn how to create, configure, and launch Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns directly from the Cavaco AI dashboard.

Cavaco AI allows you to create and manage Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising campaigns directly from your dashboard. This streamlines your workflow, allowing you to launch ads alongside your email and SMS campaigns.

1. Prerequisites

Before creating a campaign, you must have successfully connected your Meta Ad Account in Settings > Integrations.

2. Creating a New Campaign

  1. Navigate to Advertising in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Create Campaign.
  3. Select Manual Setup or use the Assisted Creator (Marketing Copilot) for AI-driven recommendations.
  4. If setting up manually, select Meta Ads as the channel.

3. Configuring Campaign Details

You'll need to define the core settings for your ad campaign:

  • Campaign Name: Give it a clear, descriptive name.
  • Objective: Choose your goal (e.g., Conversions, Traffic, Engagement). This tells Meta's algorithm how to optimize your ad delivery.
  • Budget: Set your daily or lifetime budget.
  • Schedule: Define the start and end dates for the campaign.

4. Defining Your Audience

This is where Cavaco AI's integration shines. You can target specific segments of your customer base.

  1. In the Audience section, choose to target an existing Cavaco AI segment (e.g., "Cart Abandoners - Last 7 Days").
  2. Alternatively, you can build a new audience based on demographics, interests, and behaviors, just as you would in Meta Ads Manager.
  3. You can also create Lookalike Audiences based on your high-value segments to find new prospects similar to your best customers.

5. Designing the Ad Creative

Now, build the actual ad that users will see on Facebook or Instagram.

  1. Format: Choose between a Single Image, Video, or Carousel format.
  2. Media: Select images or videos from your Brand Assets library or upload new ones.
  3. Primary Text: Write the main caption that appears above the ad.
  4. Headline: Write the bold text that appears below the image.
  5. Description: Add supporting text (optional).
  6. Call to Action (CTA): Select the appropriate button (e.g., "Shop Now", "Learn More").
  7. Destination URL: Enter the link where users should be directed when they click the ad.

6. Review and Launch

  1. Review all campaign settings, audience targeting, and creative previews.
  2. Ensure your billing information is up-to-date in your Meta account.
  3. Click Launch Campaign.
  4. The campaign will be sent to Meta for review. Once approved by Meta, it will start running according to your schedule.

7. Monitoring Performance

You can track the performance of your Meta campaigns directly within Cavaco AI by navigating to Advertising > My Campaigns and clicking on the specific campaign to view metrics like Impressions, Clicks, Cost Per Click (CPC), and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
