What Is a Time-Sensitive Campaign?
A time-sensitive campaign (also called a broadcast or blast) is a one-time message sent to a specific audience at a scheduled time. Unlike drip campaigns which are triggered by customer behavior, time-sensitive campaigns are calendar-based. They are ideal for flash sales, new product launches, holiday promotions, and newsletters.
Creating the Campaign
- Navigate to Campaigns > Create Campaign.
- Select Time-Sensitive as the campaign type.
- Give your campaign a clear internal name (e.g., "Black Friday 2026 - Email Blast").
Selecting Your Audience
Choose the audience segment you want to target. For a broad promotional campaign, you might select "All Active Subscribers." For a more targeted campaign, use a specific segment (e.g., "VIP Customers" or "Customers who bought Product X").
Choosing Your Channels
A time-sensitive campaign can be sent via Email, SMS, WhatsApp, or any combination. For maximum impact on major promotions, a multi-channel approach (Email + SMS) is recommended.
Scheduling the Send
In the Schedule tab, choose when to send your campaign:
- Send Now: Immediately sends to all recipients.
- Schedule for Later: Set a specific date and time. Cavaco will send the campaign at that time in your account's timezone.
- Smart Send: Cavaco AI determines the optimal send time for each individual recipient based on their historical engagement patterns, maximizing open rates.
Reviewing Before Launch
Before activating, use the Preview & Test feature to send yourself a test message. Review the subject line, preview text, body content, and all links. Once satisfied, click Schedule Campaign to confirm.
