List Health Is Deliverability
The quality of your subscriber list directly impacts your email and SMS deliverability. A list full of disengaged or invalid contacts leads to high bounce rates, spam complaints, and ultimately, your messages landing in the spam folder. Cavaco AI provides the tools to keep your list healthy and your deliverability strong.
Accessing Audience Analytics
Navigate to Audiences > Analytics to see a comprehensive overview of your subscriber base, including total subscribers, growth rate, engagement rates, and churn.
Key Health Metrics
- Active Subscribers: Contacts who have opened or clicked an email or SMS in the last 90 days. This is your most engaged audience.
- At-Risk Subscribers: Contacts who have not engaged in 90-180 days. These should be targeted with a re-engagement campaign.
- Inactive Subscribers: Contacts who have not engaged in over 180 days. Consider suppressing these from regular campaigns.
- Bounce Rate: The percentage of emails that could not be delivered. Hard bounces (invalid addresses) are automatically suppressed by Cavaco.
- Spam Complaint Rate: The percentage of recipients who marked your email as spam. Keep this below 0.1%.
Running a Re-Engagement Campaign
For at-risk subscribers, Cavaco's Copilot will often suggest a re-engagement initiative. A typical re-engagement campaign sends a compelling offer ("We miss you! Here's 20% off") to inactive subscribers. Those who don't engage after the sequence are automatically suppressed to protect your deliverability.
Suppression Lists
Suppression lists are contacts who should never receive marketing messages — either because they unsubscribed, complained, or you've manually added them. Cavaco automatically manages unsubscribes and hard bounces. You can also manually upload a suppression list under Audiences > Suppression.
